Bookfairs and encounters in 2016
Christian Epanya 'll do some signing on May 1st at the Musée du Car at Vanosc,following the publication of Papa Diop's Taxi Great Return.
Till May 10th,I'll do a number of illustrations workshops at the Europa College in Montelimar.
On May 12th,at La Parenthèse Bookstore,an exhibit's opening of the original illustrations of the Papa Diop's Taxi Great Return will take place.There'll also be some book signing.
On May 13th,at the MJC du Vieux Lyon,during the FILACO festival,I'll speak about the process of creating a children's book.
From August 19th through September 04th, I'll do illustrations workshops in Sweden and I'll also attend Africa's Day on September 03rd in Stockholm.
Following a change of program here in Annonay,I'm forwarding my trip to the US during which I'll be delivering speeches and running illustrations workshops, on September 25.The return date has been fixed on October 15.

Christian Kingue Epanya.Born 3rd June 1956 in Douala, Cameroon. After serving as Loading Master of crude oil in the Rio del Rey, off the coast of the South West Province of Cameroon, from 1983 to 1990, has attended the Ecole Emile COHL, an art school, specialized in illustration, comics and animated cartoons, where he graduated in 1992 with a Graphic Arts Certificate.Awarded the UNICEF
Bologna Illustrator of the Year 1993 Prize in Bologna, Italy.
Freelance illustrator since 1993. Run writing and illustrations workshops in France and abroad.
Having kept alive the colours of the Southern hemisphere, his artwork reflects the atmosphere of that part of the world.but he’s not averse to illustrating stories from other cultures.
Christian Kingue Epanya’s hobbies are reading and lawn-tennis.
He‘s fluent in Duala, English, French, Italian, Portuguese and Spanish.
